Our next seed lets us explore lush caves in a whole new format. Instead of digging down or jumping into a ravine, you can walk into this one from the side. We spawn on top of a mountain next to an ocean in this seed. That means you can directly jump into the ocean and avoid any fall damage.
Now, that very ocean has an opening in the mountain that leads to an exposed lush cave. The cave even expands out of that opening and onto the various edges of the mountain (shown above). If you choose to enter it, you will discover that a majority of it is underwater, with fishes interacting with its plants and other features.

4. Huge Underwater Caves

If you like underwater exploration, you will love this entry on our list of the best Minecraft 1.18 lush caves seeds. It spawns us on an island next to a frozen ocean, home to one of the largest underwater lush caves. Here, you will notice the cave’s properties not only on the ocean’s surface but also within its ravines. Underwater lush caves are much harder to find with limited visibility. So, make sure you create a Potion of Night Vision to see better.

5. Waterlogged Lush Cave

Our next cave seed is a delight to play. It spawns us at a beautiful taiga island, surrounded by a huge ocean. The area around the spawn is mesmerizing in itself but provides enough supplies for survival gameplay as well. Then, if you look deeper into the island, you will find a river built on top of a lush cave biome. The cave openings in this area are very narrow, so digging straight under the river would be the best option. Doing so will lead you to a lush cave full of dozens of mini water pools. Usually, this biome only has a couple of them, but this seed ensures you get a full experience of pool generation in the new Minecraft. There is even an underwater lush cave if you choose to explore further.

6. Largest Lush Caves Network in Minecraft 1.18

Our next seed offers not only a single area of lush caves but a whole network of them. Irrespective of which cave opening or dig point you choose around your spawn, for at least a thousand blocks, all of them lead to lush caves. Such a huge network of continuous lush caves feels impossible.
But this seed spawns us right on top of it. The spawn point is in a dark forest, which provides enough resources to get a head start in the game. But as it’s a dark forest, more mobs also spawn in this area. So, we suggest you practice caution while finding your way into the lush caves biome and in the caves too.

7. Safest Lush Caves

As per the new terrain generation system, lush caves are usually found in temperate biomes like forests and jungles. But this seed changes that. It spawns lush caves under the badlands and wooded badlands. Not only that, thanks to this unique spawn, the caves intersect with the Mineshafts.
Now, this Minecraft 1.18 lush caves seed gives you a cave built right under a mushroom island. As per our test, no mobs spawned in the cave area directly under the island. A few mobs do spawn if you venture out of that area and go deeper into the caves. But you will have a lot less to worry about in this seed. And the best part is that this island isn’t far from our spawn point.

8. Badlands Lush Caves with Mineshaft

As per the new terrain generation system, lush caves are usually found in temperate biomes like forests and jungles. But this seed changes that. It spawns lush caves under the badlands and wooded badlands. Not only that, thanks to this unique spawn, the caves intersect with the mineshafts.
Mineshafts are common in the Badlands biome and its variants. So yeah, having any type of cave can easily help you find mineshafts here. Additionally, you won’t even have to look for the caves once you find your way to this area. The lush caves in this seed spawn are exposed on the side of a wooded badlands mountain. In many ways, it would be close to impossible to discover a similar seed as the mineshafts are present in both Java and Bedrock editions.
